CHEAP Makeup TOOLS anyone?

These are cheap tools that I actually use with my makeup. The quality in all of these are unbelievable, they are worth every single peso and maybe even more. :)

ELF Eyelash Curler (P130-- I think). This eyelash curler is amazing! I'm telling you, this can compete with other high end eyelash curlers. Here is the thing, I have already sufficient eyelashes but when I use this, my eyelashes looks like they are false eyelashes especially when I apply mascara on them. I don't even have to use eyeliners, coz they already define my eyes already, that how good it is!

But its broken :( and i still don't have the moolah to buy another one, so for the meantime I'm using this.

Face Shop Eyelash Curler (My mom bought this) (P299). It is kinda pricey, but it delivers the same effect like the ELF's eyelash curler, but not as curled as you want to, you have to curl it more times to get the effect you want to have, but its still a good buy, cause it looks way cuter than the other one and the quality of the material used is better so it does not get broken too easily.

Watsons Lip brush retractor (P65). I think this one is made by watsons, there is no brand on the packaging so I assume it is made by them. I use a lip brush cause i have plump lips and sometimes just applying lipstick as it is, is not enough so I got myself a lip brush, and it works great, the brush itself is soft and glides in my lips  and it doesn't hurt my lips at all. 

Main Street Eyebrow Brush (P40) Cheap right? I rarely use this that is why i looked for the cheapest of them all, but in case i need to do my eyebrows i have them. So if you need a cheap eyebrow this is the way to gooooooo. :)

Sunsilk Damage Repair (P165 -- I think). Its a reconstruction serum, I have rebonded hair. I get it rebonded every year if not my hair would be all frizzy and ugly. Blower & Ironing my hair everyday is not practical unless you have lots of time in your hands and you dont get too tired easily ANNNND its also bad for your hair.

I apply this serum on my wet hair starting from the mid length through the ends, actually there is an instruction on the box, I put a lot in the ends because i think they are dead ( SAD FACE HERE) and when it dries up the ends are soooo rough, they irritate my skin. This product really helps me a lot and its cheap.

I'm such a lazy person that i rarely go to salons to get my hair treated, so this is my easy way out. :>

Groovy Blush Brush (P94). I use this brush for my blush (obviously), and for such a cheap price it is surprisingly very soft and gentle. The handle is cute, it has black and white spatter in them and its small enough to fit into my make up purse.

Nichido Eyebrow Shaver(?) (P50). Okay forgive me, I'm not sure what they are called, feeling kinda stupid right now but yeah call them whatever you like. As i said before I'm lazy when it comes to going to salons to get treatments and tweezing is out of the question, so I don't usually get my eyebrows fixed unless i really really need to.
There has been lots and lots of shavers out there for the eyebrows but nothing can compare to Nichido's shaver, i have tried a lot of them but I get the best result with this one.

Ganier Face Mask (P49). This has 2 doses but I gave the other one away. I have been using this for so long, It doesn't cause me breakouts. I use this almost every week, just to refresh my face. I think this is such a steal cause the way this mask hydrates my skin is out of this world, i have used a lot of masks from very pricey shops, but this one is unbeatable. You see, you don't need to have high end products to be pretty.

So these are some of my tools that I use, i know this is not yet complete, but i will post more soon.

POWDERS!!!

powders powders powders. 

Powder is an essential, some girls or women just apply powder to their face, a dab of blush and lip gloss and they are ready to go. Which is okay, but you gotta have powder! 

I have used a great deal of powders in my 21 years of existence (Venus Raj is that you? LOL). I started I think when im in my 1st yr of highschool. I used clean & clear, ponds and johnsons & johnsons. All of them are affordable.

On my college years. I have used johnsons & johnsons face powder for quite sometime, cause its literally a powder with a hint of color just enough to hide imperfections. Then I fell inlove with garnier's powder. I really love it but i recommend to use it alone. Don't use foundations with them, maybe concealers but no foundations cause it will cause a cakey look which we dont like. :)

But as of now. Since I am already using a foundation & concealer. This is my weapon of choice. :)

I'm using Johnsons & Johnsons baby powder (P30). Just the regular baby powder but in a compact form. Which is very handy although it doesn't have a mirror but that is okay just bring one with you.

It's enough to prevent the shine away our pretty little faces.

We dont want our face to look like we have too much make up on, so ill say this powder is just right enough.

Garnier Whitening Face Powder (P199). I have recommended this to most of my friends and they all have liked it, it really works for oily skin. And it also has SPF 18 which will protect our face from uneven skin tone (We dont like that Okay? okay :).  

The thing with this product is its like a foundation but with a lighter coverage that is why you dont need to apply foundation anymore. Just don't forget the primer or concealer just to hide those little imperfections we dont want others to see :)

I have yet to try a mineral powder. Still haven't got the time to raid but im looking at some online stores, but if I do find a cheap & nice mineral powder i will surely buy it.

Cheap beauty finds! (Primer, Foundation, Concealer & foundation brush)

These are some alternatives for those expensive beauty products

This what i use almost everyday when I go out.

I commute most of the time, so I really need make up that won't make me feel oily or that would pile up and look cake-y.

First stop, i recommend that everyone should have a primer.

This is L'Oreal True Match Makeup Base (P425)

It is a bit pricey, but this is something you have to invest on because this will hold your makeup for the rest of the day.

I went to Megamall yesterday and raided their watsons just looking for cheapest primer there is! This the winner. 

Elf's foundation brush (P129.75) It's made out of synthetic nylon. Its cheap and soft, very nice for the skin. You need this tool to smoothen out the foundation and concealer that you will use to make sure its even in all places. I really like this brush so much. 

Face shop Flebeaute Foundation (P600 I think, i forgot), this one too is in the pricey side but you have to invest on this kind of make up. It has collagen, collagen is good for your face cause that will help prevent those wrinkles,things that will make your face look old and tighten your skin. It also has SPF 20 this is important cause you want to prevent uneven skin tone and protect your face from the sun's harmful rays that will also make you look old.

Next, is Elf's Tone Correcting Concealer for just (P129.75)
I have dark circle around my eyes and when I tried it, they just went poof. Personally, I like Elf products cause they are very cheap and the quality is also really nice.

These are the basic cheap stuff that you will need for everyday.

The total for all of these is:

It's a bargain compare to higher end products.
This is quality and affordability at its best.

So.. I decided to make a blog about cheap beauty finds. Let's face it, not all of us can buy high end make up products and that includes me. 

HOW I STARTED:

Few weeks ago i have stumbled upon youtube beauty gurus, I got addicted and watched every single video they have and got me all interested in makeups and everything about beauty. As i was checking out the beauty products they are using MAC, Urban decay, Nars and drugstore stuff, my mouth literally went wide open seeing the prices on my laptop screen. I was like arguing on my head on where to get the money to buy those products. I was thinking of recreating the "robbing a bank using mascot costumes" in Sugar & Spice the movie. That would work but there are cctv cameras all over so i might get easily be found. That is why i tried my very best to look for alternatives for those very very expensive stuff.

VISION & MISSION

Bargain, Sale and cheap is what i want but a product than can still deliver. I believe that cheap beauty products can work really as good as those expensive brands if you just know where to look for them.

I'll be posting soon enough for my beauty finds, well not only beauty also clothes, shoes & accessories. Just cheap and quality stuff that will make you happy and accomplished :>
